Starlings is an independent game developed by Russ Morris that I’ve been keeping an eye on for a while now. Its an original concept, something often rare in the gaming world these days (sorry to sound quite so cynical!) which involves the player building a flock of starlings from just a single bird in flight.
A fascinating idea for a game that blends puzzle, art and flight sim in one.

Unity Technologies have just released Unity 2.6.1 incremental release. This version fixes a few bugs that were lurking in 2.6 and also adds in web player support for Safari 64bit in Mac OS X Leopard (10.6) – as UT have rewritten the player specifically for that browser for even slicker performance.
