Unity 3.0 Released!

After thousands of hours of testing, tweaking and development Unity Technologies have released the final candidate of Unity version 3.0.

The biggest release in terms of standards, new features and stability ever released, it is a time for everyone involved in its development to be very proud of themselves. Having worked with Unity since version 1.5 its a fairly nostalgic day looking at how the software has grown from a fairly unheard of Mac application to something being used worldwide by the likes of EA and other high profile partners – and I wish all of the team some epic high fives, especially those I had the pleasure of working with recently in creating some of the promotional videos for the new version.

As usual, why are you still reading this and not downloading Unity 3.0?
