Transcripted, awesome 2D shooter

This fantastic game by french developers Alkemi games is an excellent example of Flash developers making their mark on the Unity platform. Alkemi state in their mission statement that they aim to bring other developers with them -

“Alkemi develops it’s own 2D framework to bring Unity3D closer to Flash (MovieClip creation, dynamic display list with complete MouseEvent handling, actionscript like syntax to create GUI). We’re also using an import pipeline to convert Flash assets to our Unity system.”

Transcripted itself is a crack at the 2D space shooter genre, mixing things up with puzzle gameplay and frantic 2D aim and shoot action set against a beautiful backdrop of DNA streams and cell-like designs.
